Gary Sullivan offers an in-depth exploration of how joy is found in faithful service to one another and our Higher Power. He will discuss how we can overcome addictive tendencies by being present in every moment and releasing the egoic nature. The breath is our reminder to connect to a higher power and “let go” of the EGO.
Gary has been a member of the Recovery 2.0 community since attending the “Summit of Consciousness” retreat in Costa Rica during summer of 2019. After the breakup of his 2nd marriage in 2018, Gary began a process of reconciliation with “Self and Higher Power” through daily yoga, meditation, and contemplative practices, to overcome the EGO nature (drive for success) and relationship addictions (codependency).
The Breath is his constant reminder to “live in the present movement” and “let go of the EGO” nature that leads to cravings, and addiction. In 2022, Gary started the non-profit “Sattva Yoga and Wellness Center” in Lynchburg, Virginia to continue focus on the recovery journey, yoga practices, meditation, and connection with community.
