In recovery, stilling the mind creates a powerful pathway to connect with your heart. When we quiet the chatter of thoughts and cravings, we can hear our deeper wisdom and authentic desires. This inner connection becomes a cornerstone of resilience, allowing us to recognize triggers and access our inherent strength even in challenging moments.
As we build these connections and witness ourselves creating a fulfilling life beyond addiction, we experience the profound joy that comes from changing the game entirely.
After relapsing after 1 and 8 years of recovery, Jeff got serious about healing his anxiety, depression, shame, grief and complex PTSD through AA, Eastern philosophy, Zen meditation, Rumi and Hafiz poetry, martial arts, Lakota sweat lodges and vision quests, and finally living in Shree Muktananda Ashram doing practices/sadhana to support the unfoldment of his Shaktipat Diksha-Kundalini awakening.
He now continues to practice the R20 efforts 10, 11, and 12 through helping others in recovery by sharing his somewhat non-clinical methods of self-care, life balance, and connection to the Ocean of Consciousness.
