This video addresses some very important questions that came up in the circle during Recovery Q&A:
- Is there a time and place for anger? For some of us, when we are faced with challenging situations, there can be an approach to practice a more ‘yin’ energy and to allow things to unfold as they will. But for others who feel called to social justice work, is there a time and a place to allow a more ‘yang’ energy to guide us?
- How can I support my son who has bipolar disorder and who is in active addiction?
- I have been journaling for years. Some of my writing from darker times in my life is very dark and some of it is really creative and filled with value. I want to know if I should dispose of these journals or leave them for my son to find one day?
The questions asked in the circle helped shed light on the ways to take action consciously, how to know where and when to get involved, and when to hold on and when to let go.
We hope you find the answers insightful and helpful.
