Ayurvedic Metabolic Perspective: Healing the Damage

with Durga Leela
Save to Favorites

Ayurveda views addiction not just as a mental compulsion, but as a systemic imbalance that weakens digestion, depletes vitality, and drives us to seek stimulation outside ourselves.

Yoga of Recovery integrates Yoga, Ayurveda, and modern recovery tools to address addiction from the inside out. Drawing on Ayurveda’s metabolic perspective, it offers lifestyle, nutrition, and the deep restorative power of Pancha Karma to repair the damage of addictive patterns.

In this transformative presentation, Durga Leela shows us how lifestyle, nutrition, and Pancha Karma can support lasting recovery and renewed vitality.

Durga Leela is a person in long-term recovery, a certified Ayurveda Practitioner, yoga teacher, yoga therapist (IAYT certified) and Recovery Coach.  She has been teaching Yoga of Recovery since 2005. She is a long-time friend of Recovery 2.0 and her first book “Yoga of Recovery: Integrating Yoga and Ayurveda with Modern Recovery Tools for Addiction” was published in May 2022.
