Two-way prayer is a spiritual practice rooted in the Oxford Group and used by early A.A. founders like Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob to build a personal relationship with a Higher Power through both speaking and listening.
It involves finding a quiet space, asking a sincere question or offering a prayer, then writing down and reflecting on the thoughts that come as guidance for recovery and daily life.
With consistent practice, it can deepen spiritual connection, increase clarity, and support emotional healing, while also strengthening community when shared with others, making it a simple but powerful tool for ongoing recovery.
